Individual Counselling
Most people, at some point in their lives will encounter problems, challenges, stressful events that are really difficult to overcome. This may cause feelings of sadness, worry, discomfort and sometimes stronger feelings like depression or high anxiety. Sometimes there is not a significant event or trigger which causes these feelings but instead a longer lasting feeling of melancholy or just a general sense of life not being what you want it to be. These are the times it can be really helpful to talk to a qualified and experienced counsellor.
Some examples of why a person will seek individual counselling include:
- Anxiety, panic or excessive worry
- Persistent feelings of sadness or anger
- Managing grief and loss
- Relationship concerns
- Stress
- Recovery from trauma or abuse
- Seeking to clarify your own goals, values and sense of life purpose
